It is our privilege to train at and to welcome you to the Washington University Emergency Residency Program!

Our dynamic program is hte porduct of collaboration between Washington University School of Medicine and Barnes Jewish Hospital, which provides us exposure to a vast patient population and pathologies through serving as the largest tertiary referal center and safety net hospital in the heart of our region and St. Louis.  It combines clinical exposure and experience with state of the art facilities, high patient volumes, and significant acuity with non-clinical resources, research and educational opportunities.  But most importantly, our program fosters a learning environment that promotes independent learning with a strong sense of family and loyalty to our colleagues.

It is an honor to study and practice in a specialty as exciting as Emergency Medicine.
