New Paper Out: The trajectory of gait development in mice

First author work from phenomenal undergrad research alum, Shyam Akula, was published, describing how mouse gait changes over development. “The trajectory of gait development in mice” was published in Brain and Behavior. The publication shows how aspects of mouse gait development parallel a timeline of normal human gait development, meaning their results may be used as a standard reference for developmental gait phenotyping of rodent models, such as models of neurodevelopmental disease. Susan is the corresponding author on the paper. Congrats to Shyam, Susan, as well as Katie, Claire and Joe!
