Shyam Wins Undergraduate Thesis Award, Harvard-Bound in Fall

Our undergrads are on a roll! Shyam accepted an offer to the Harvard-MIT MD-PhD program, which pays full tuition for all eight (plus) years of school and a generous stipend on top. On top of that, he was just informed about earning the Quatrano Prize in Biology for his undergraduate thesis! The award is given to an undergraduate whose thesis has the strongest “evidence of creativity in design, research methodology, and/or broader scientific implications.”

Shyam graduates next month, and will be heading to the East Coast not too long after. We’re sad to see him go–and he’s too nice for the East Coast–but he’s another lab member on the way to Great Things!
