Congrats Simona on winning first brAvery Foundation Award

Simona, a rotation student in the lab (update: who has since joined) was named the inaugural recipient of The brAvery Foundation Award. The honor recognizes an exceptional medical student or resident who has demonstrated a commitment to a career in child and adolescent psychiatry. Simona aims to pursue a career in child psychiatry that utilizes her foundations in translational basic-science research to inform her day-to-day clinical practice. The brAvery Foundation is dedicated to the prevention of youth suicide. It was organized in memory of Avery Reine Cantor, a St. Louis-area teen who died by suicide.
