Geralle is a graduate student in the Molecular Genetics and Genomics Program. Before coming to WashU she received a BA in Biological Sciences from Wellesley College in Wellesley, MA. She is broadly interested in the mechanism of polyA tracks and the biological significance of genes that contain the cis-regulatory gene elements. She is passionate about science outreach and participates in the Young Scientist Program’s Continuing Mentorship Program and is one of the co-instructors for the McDonnell Genome Institute’s outreach program that introduces bioinformatics and genomics to high school students. She enjoys running, traveling, dancing, and binge-watching telenovelas and reality shows.

Manasvi is a senior at Washington University in St. Louis majoring In Biology and minoring in Biomedical Physics and Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies. She is broadly interested in the process of protein translation and folding and the ways in which these are regulated and is looking forward to pursuing these interests in graduate school. Outside of the lab, she is a member of WashU’s gardening club The Burning Kumquat and dabbles in amateur art in C.A.N.V.A.S, WashU’s art club. She loves travelling (especially back home to India), swimming, writing, eating chocolate and Netflix-ing.

Roshan is a junior at Washington University in St. Louis majoring in Microbiology with a minor in Computer Science. He is primarily interested in malarial and cancer research. Outside of the lab, he is involved in Health Guardians of America, Model United Nations, Empower Through Health and the Taekwondo club. He also enjoy playing the guitar and Ultimate Frisbee in his free time.
