About Me

I graduated from the University of Calcutta, India, in 2019 with a major in Chemical Engineering. Currently, I am a doctoral student at Washington University in St. Louis, USA (WashU) working in air quality research with Randall Martin.

Other than research, I enjoy a range of activities including poetry, violin, theatre, dance, hiking and cooking.

Research Overview

My research is based on understanding and solving complex air pollution challenges using chemical transport modeling, satellite remote sensing and in-situ measurement networks, from global to local scales. My specific interests include sources of air pollution, particulate matter, greenhouse gases and their contribution to the health burden. I also work on developing high spatial and temporal resolution air quality monitoring and emissions estimates using constraints from satellite remote sensing.
