Our program spans from bench to bedside across labs to clinical research team to 3D printing lab at WUSM. We have ongoing work in unraveling the mucosal immunology and microbiome in perianal Crohn’s disease. Additional projects are focused on image segmentation techniques for 3D volume rendered images and printed anatomical models funded by AGA Pilot and Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology Pilot Awards Additional ongoing work with Dr. David Ballard funded by the Radiological Society of North America and the Litwin Grant from the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, focuses on exploring PET-MR as a novel tool for disease activity and response assessment in perianal fistulizing Crohn’s disease.
