Darejan Dvalishvili, MSW, MD is a researcher focused on understanding the relationships between poverty, child maltreatment and other childhood adversities.

Brief Bio: Darejan is from Republic of Georgia. She graduated from Tbilisi State Medical University in 2002 and received her MSW from Columbia University in 2010. Darejan has previously worked with UNICEF and other international and local non-profit organizations mainly focusing on child protection and child welfare issues. As the principal investigator, she run several research projects both in Georgia and abroad.
