Postdoctoral Research Associate in Theoretical Cold Atomic Physics and Quantum Information Science
The Department of Physics at the Washington University in St. Louis seeks to fill a Postdoctoral Research Associate position in Theoretical Cold Atomic and/or Quantum Information Physics. The candidate will work with Prof. Chuanwei Zhang in the Department of Physics. The starting time is negotiable. Salary is commensurate with experience. The candidate is expected to work in theoretical ultra-cold atomic gases, and/or quantum information science, in particular cold atom quantum simulation, quantum sensing and quantum network.
A Ph.D. in Physics or a closely related field is required. The initial appointment will be one year, but is renewable for another one or two years, depending on the availability of funding and mutual agreement. Candidates with research background in quantum information science and cold atomic physics are preferred.
