Callie is originally from Northern California, but called the Pacific Northwest home for a decade before relocating to St. Louis. Callie’s interest in public health stems from volunteer and research experiences gained while living in Ecuador. She earned a B.A. in Spanish and Biology from Willamette University in 2013 and a Master of Public Health in International Health from Oregon State University in 2016.

After completing her MPH, Callie worked at the Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute for 3 years. During this time, Callie contributed to the development of implementation sciences measures and methods, and worked on a variety of implementation and quality improvement projects in primary care. She has experience employing qualitative methods and conducting systematic reviews. Her research interests include dissemination and implementation science, chronic disease prevention, and health equity.

Little known facts: Callie is an avid sports enthusiast and in her free time enjoys attending sporting events, participating in outdoor activities, and cooking.
