Across all positions, we look for lab members who are passionate about research in children, depression, anxiety, and/or systems neuroscience; value team work; pay attention to details; and enjoy learning new things. We’d love to work with you!
Undergraduate Students
If you are interested in becoming an undergraduate research assistant in the lab, please apply using the OCEAN UGRA form. Assistantships can be completed for course credit, federal work study, or through external fellowships. We typically recruit new students 2-3 weeks before the start of each semester.
Graduate Students
Please email Dr. Camacho (camachoc@wustl.edu) with the following:
- CV or resume
- Which degree program you are in (or starting). Please include any relevant specifics, too, such as if there is a deadline you need to have an advisor secured by.
- Approximately when you are hoping to start/rotate (if known).
- Your future plans and/or what you are hoping to get out of being in the lab. This can include professional goals (e.g., publish a paper, get specific training) or scientific goals (e.g., develop expertise in assessing preschool emotional functioning). It’s also okay to not know yet, we just want to get a sense of what direction you would be starting in.
- Any other info that would be helpful to know
Once you send this, Dr. Camacho will respond within a week to set up a time to discuss more. If you do not receive a response within one week, please re-send your email.
Ahead of the meeting, it is recommended that you read the Research page to see if the CRAB lab is the right fit for you.
