Senior Research Assistant

Julie Heidbreder is a Senior Research Assistant at the Center for Public Health Systems Science contributing to the Translational Science Benefits Model, which provides benchmarks to assess the impact of research that applies scientific findings to enhance public health and well-being. Julie is a Licensed, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and before joining CPHSS worked for Special School District of St. Louis County for the past 16 years. She also volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate with St. Louis City CASA for 15 years, which informed her interests in equity and advocacy for children. Julie is interested in how the environment impacts human behavior and in research supporting the development of nurturing environments, improved public health outcomes, and better quality of life for individuals and communities.
