Rolando Tejeda

Who is he?

Rolando went to the University of California, Davis to study Mechanical Engineering. Before Olin, he was in the energy sector working for the largest privately-owned renewable energy company. He felt very fortunate to be able to develop, design, and construct renewable energy power plants across Chile, Canada, and the USA.

He is going to graduate in Spring 2023 and is focused on the Energy industry. He considers himself a nomad. He will end up wherever an opportunity takes him… as long as it’s in the energy industry sector, which he is passionate about.

What energizes you outside of work? A good hike followed by a cold brew. Or, watching a boxing match.

What’s one thing most people don’t know about you? I grew up working a farm, driving a tractor, and branding cows… I don’t do that anymore though.
