In learning from our experience this semester, we have found out how important it is to properly manage time as well as the scope of a project early on. With our design project, we were encouraged to clearly layout everything that we planned to do to achieve our goals and we did not seriously consider the amount of time that certain aspects of a project take. We also overestimated our ability to interface between a Raspberry Pi, microcontroller, and MATLAB considering we had zero experience working with these tools together.

Ultimately, we designed two closed-loop controllers so that we could control the position of our camera as it pans on a servo as well as control the speed of the rover. Future simulations could be created that add onto our Simulink model to fully integrate all components of our system.
