Welcoming our new lab members

The Complex Memory Lab is excited to welcome two new Psychological & Brain Sciences graduate students, Angelique Delarazan and Ata Karagoz!

Angelique joins us from Dr. Charan Ranganath’s Dynamic Memory Lab at UC Davis, where she utilized naturalistic paradigms to investigate the processes that support human memory. She is interested in neural mechanisms underlying forgetting and how temporal structure affects event representation.

Ata joins us from Dr. Alison Preston’s laboratory at UT Austin where he worked as lab manager studying spatial memory and navigation. Ata is interested in the formation and manipulation of knowledge structures in narrative tasks, and how reward modulates memory processes such as pattern separation.
