The CHEST Study
CHEST stands for A Partnership with Community Health Centers to Implement SMART for Asthma. The study aims to evaluate how our comprehensive SMART implementation package, consisting of: redesigned asthma action plans; provider training; audit and feedback; and practice facilitation can enhance asthma management strategies and improve patient outcomes within the real-world context of FQHCs.
The Team
The CHEST Study team comprises pulmonologists, researchers, designers, and community partners. The multidisciplinary nature of the study brings together experts in public health, implementation science, and design practices.
Collaborators
CHEST partners with local community organizations to disseminate materials and complete participatory-based action research.
