
Tsering Wangmo
PhD candidate, Anthropology
Tsering Wangmo is a Tibetan filmmaker from Ladakh, India. Her research focuses on the anthropology of geopolitics, land epistemologies, exile and displacement, and the role of dreams in the context of migration and exile. Tsering Wangmo is deeply committed to experimenting with research methodologies to foster more open, creative, and collaborative processes of knowledge production, and dissemination. At WashU, she is pursuing a PhD in anthropology and a graduate certificate in Film and Media Studies. She is an alumna of NYU, where she completed her MA with a specialization in documentary film production.
