Policy Forum “Social Security and Beyond: Building Financial Capability Across a Lifetime”
As part of a series of events leading up to the 2016 Presidential Debate on campus October 9, Institute scholars Timothy D. McBride and Nancy Morrow-Howell participated in the policy forum “Social Security and Beyond: Building Financial Capability Across a Lifetime.”
The forum, held at the Brown School on October 4, discussed social security, asset building across a lifetime, and new policy developments that address financial inclusion. Featured in the policy forum were:
- Timothy D. Bride, Brown School professor and co-director of the Center for Health Economics and Policy
- Nancy Morrow-Howell, Brown School professor and director of the Harvey A. Friedman Center for the Aging
- Margaret Clancy, policy director, Center for Social Development
- David Certner, legislative counsel and legislative policy director for government affairs at AARP
