Center for Aging presents 24th Annual Friedman Lecture & Awards, April 4

Panelists discuss how to engage older adults in climate change activism at the 23rd Annual Friedman Lecture

Over the past two decades, research on Blue ZonesTM has helped to identify how the world’s longest living populations achieve better health and vitality. On April 4, the Harvey A. Friedman Center for Aging presents its 24th annual Friedman Lecture and Awards event. Keynote lecturer, Kimberly C. Porter, Transformations Director for Blue Zones, will discuss Blueprint for Longevity: Implementing Blue ZonesTM principles in our communities, focusing on the international Blue ZonesTM movement, its principles and what implementation looks like in different communities across the US. The discussion will center on living long and healthy lives in our communities here in St. Louis.

The Friedman Lecture and Awards also honors award winners in three categories for their outstanding service to older adults. A panel of experts discussing timely topics in aging includes a Q&A with the audience.
