Welcome to The Center for Cellular and Molecular Neurobiology

The McDonnell Center for Cellular & Molecular Neurobiology has supported Neuroscience-related activities across Washington University for more than 30 years.  It helps fund a wide variety of activities in research, education and outreach that promote the scope and vibrancy of our Neuroscience community.  On this site, you can find specific instructions to apply for funding.  You can also learn about past awardees, as well as events and initiatives the Center has helped launch.  Finally, the site also describes the history and administration of the Center, and its relationship to the McDonnell Center for Systems Neuroscience.

Temporary Suspension of New Resource Proposals (NRPS)

New Resource Proposals (NRPs) are a signature feature of the McDonnell Center for Cellular and Molecular Neurobiology.  We believe that they are critically important for fueling innovative neuroscience research across WU. Unfortunately, due to current financial restrictions at WUSM, we need to temporarily suspend the NRP program. We will reevaluate quarterly throughout the coming fiscal year and will open the program as soon as we are able. Please contact the Director (Paul Taghert PhD; taghertp@wustl.edu) if you have any questions.
