Rita Taylor

Graduate Student

Rita is a graduate student working with Dr. Deanna Barch. She received her B.A. in Psychology and Cognitive Science from Northwestern University. After graduating, she worked at the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior on a large study broadly investigating environmental influences on child development. She is interested in the influence of early life adversity—particularly as it relates to unpredictable learning environments—on the maturation of brain structures and pathways related to motivation and cognitive control.
