Margaret is a clinical graduate student working with Dr. Deanna Barch. She received a B.S. in Child Development and a B.A. in Psychology from Vanderbilt University. At Vanderbilt, she researched family-level depression interventions with Dr. Bruce Compas. After graduating, Margaret spent two years working in Dr. Margaret Sheridan’s lab at UNC-Chapel Hill, investigating how early life experiences influence adolescent psychopathology and neural development. Margaret is interested in studying how cognitive processes and early life adversity influence the development of affective psychopathology in adolescence.
