Liz Chrastil

Liz is a research assistant working with Jeremy Gray and Todd Braver. She graduated from Washington University in 2002 with degrees in Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology and History, and plans to go to graduate school at some point in the future. She is currently working on the INDIV (Neural substrates of emotion-cognition interactions, also called individual differences) study Part II. This entails data collection in mass testing sessions and collecting data individually on cognitive tasks, fluid intelligence, and working memory. She performs scanning sessions that involve induced emotion (through emotional videos) and cognitive tasks to test participant performance in relation to emotional states. She is also working on a decision-making study (Neural substrates of decision making) that test short-term vs. long-term time periods on decision-making.
