Katherine Lopez

Graduate Student

Katherine is a clinical doctoral student working with Dr. Deanna Barch. She graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Psychology and spent the subsequent five years doing imaging and neuropsychological research at the National Institutes of Health under Drs. Jay Giedd and John Dsurney. Katherine applies network science techniques to resting state data to study the neural mechanisms that support executive functions. She is particularly interested in how these brain-behavior relationships go awry in depression/suicide.
