Alex Puricelli

Research Technician I

I graduated from Boston College in May of 2018 with a B.A. in psychology and a concentration in clinical psych. I grew up in St. Louis and have spent my entire life (besides my undergraduate years) here. I have done previous work at Washington University as a research assistant in the SPAN Lab with Dr. Thomas Oltmanns. Other previous research endeavors have included work on hopelessness and suicidal ideation in Cuban adolescents and a thesis project in which I conducted a cross-cultural comparison of associations between personality and entrepreneurship in Spain and the United States. I hope to go on to obtain a doctorate in psychology, though I am still deciding on a specific area.
