Arlice McElroy Thompson, resident of North County and alumna of the Community Research Fellows Training Program (CRFT), has been a part of CCHPR’s Community Health Consultant Program since its inception in 2022.
Arlice has been invited to participate in multiple Community Studios that match her lived experiences.
She participates in the CHC Program because it’s an opportunity to learn about WashU research while also learning about herself and her own health.
Arlice says, “the highlight for me is the different and diverse audience of like-minded individuals who all have a story to tell about their family’s plight with health issues and how they wanted to be a catalyst for change.” She continues, “if my information will help propel research for generations to come then I’m for it.”
