As discussed in our technical approaches, using Simulink definitely limited us in a few ways. However, using Simulink also had many strengths. We were successfully able to implement the cruise control system to achieve and maintain speeds very easily, as we have experience with this in many courses prior. We have not used another form of software to design these systems, so we felt that Simulink was our best option.

With regards to future research and growth of our model, the two areas we would focus on would be using real-time speed changes and real-time optimization. As mentioned, we were not able to implement these due to how Simulink processes a model. However, these two pieces would be very interesting to implement and analyze.
