Mission Statement
We work to spread interest, education, and participation in cancer research across the WashU campus and beyond. We enable determined students to harness their passion for cancer biology and offer opportunities for students to go beyond their classes and dive into cancer research.

Journal Clubs
We select a journal article to read and then meet to talk about its contents. We review the background information, analyze the article, and predict subsequent paths of inquiry. This allows us to broaden our knowledge of the vast field of oncology and stay up to date on new advancements.

Guest Speakers
We invite experts from all fields of cancer research to present their ground-breaking data. We probe their research methods to learn about novel discoveries in cancer biology and their applications in medicine. This is a great opportunity for students to learn more about different career paths in cancer research and potentially get connected with a research mentor.
