Katrina Hungary is a second-year MSW student and a member of the Arapahoe Nation. She graduated with a Bachelors in Social Work from Brigham Young University-Idaho. After graduating with her bachelor’s, she worked for almost 3 years at a residential facility working with clients who have a severe and persistent mental illness. She is currently seeking a master’s degree in social work, concentrating in Native American’s Alaskan Natives with a focus on system dynamics. She hopes to work with Native American’s who suffer from mental illness. Katrina is originally from Washington state and grew up on the Muckleshoot reservation. She strives to be inclusive and empathetic to all in need.
