Ashlyn Newcomb

Ashlyn Newcomb is a second-year MSW student and a member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma. She received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Oklahoma State University. Her concentration is American Indian/ Alaska Native studies with a specialization in sexual health and wellness. Ashlyn hopes to reduce the stigma surrounding sexual health and promote healthy relationships for all ages. She has interests in Missing and Murdered Indigenous People, intimate partner violence, and other crimes perpetuated against Indigenous people.
