Jordon Connell earned her MSW with a concentration in American Indian/Alaskan Native and is a member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Family and Human Services, with a minor in Native American Studies, from the University of Oregon in 2018. She hopes to address the impacts of historical trauma among Native elders and utilize tribally specific traditions to develop community interventions and culturally appropriate end-of-life care.
