Two experienced Carolina administrators have been appointed to fill key vacancies in the Chancellor’s Office.
Amy Locklear Hertel, who has served as director of the American Indian Center since 2012 and as co-chair of the Chancellor’s Task Force on UNC-Chapel Hill History, began serving as the chancellor’s chief of staff on Nov. 6. She replaces Debbie Dibbert, who returned to the Carolina Development team as the new assistant vice chancellor for principal and major gifts.
