Tobeya Ibitayo – MPH 2024

Tobeya (he/him) is a research coordinator in the lab of Dr. Phillip Marotta at the Social Policy Institute, a graduate research assistant with the Gun Violence Initiative at the Institute for Public Health, and a Graduate Policy Scholar at the Clark-Fox Policy Institute. He currently serves on the Libraries Student Advisory Group and on the selection committee of the St. Louis Literary Award. He is also a contributing writer for St. Louis Magazine. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis, where he double majored in Anthropology and African & African-American studies.

Victoria Anders – MPH/MSP 2025

Victoria is originally from Washington, DC but has lived in several other states and countries. Her professional interests include community-centered health policy and communication strategy. She’s most excited to get involved with SCC in order to support incoming students and international students as they transition to the Brown School and STL. She loves traveling and trying out all the things in St. Louis, and has lists of her favorites for every place she’s visited (hit her up for them)!

Grace Nelson – MPH 2024

Grace is from Chicago, IL but has been at WashU for the last 4 years doing the 3-2 program. She’s really excited to be a part of SCC to help plan Brown School events and meet new people within the community. Outside of class she is part of the WashU Figure Skating Club and volunteers at the APA Animal Shelter.

Lindsey Simon – MSW 2024

Lindsey is a second-year MSW student in the mental health concentration. After growing up in the Bay Area and spending a decade in Chicago, Lindsey now considers herself a fairly enthusiastic St. Louisan. When she’s not doing school/work/practicum, she’s usually doing crossword puzzles, having one-sided conversations with her cat, or taking walks (ideally with ice cream in hand).

Oreoluwa Oginni – MPH 2025

As a proud member of the SCC, Oreoluwa has a strong affection for St. Louis. He is also grateful for the opportunities that WashU offers. As the MPH Representative, he is fully devoted to positively impacting every platform and opportunity that comes his way with the aim to create a more inclusive and enriching educational experience for all students by actively engaging with peers, faculty, and staff. He works to advocate for positive change and work together with others to enhance WashU’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Jasdeep Dulay – MPH/MSP 2026

Jasdeep completed her bachelor’s degree in anthropology at UC Santa Barbara, and worked at a non-profit and a local health department before returning to school to pursue her MPH/MSP. In her free time, she likes to get outdoors, try new recipes, stay active, and make new memories with friends! In addition to being on SCC, she is a Graduate Policy Scholar, and looks forward to building community and insight outside of campus during her time in St. Louis.

Rou Yin – MSW 2025

Rou is from Quzhou China, and has spent the last eight years studying in the US. She is greatly looking forward to contributing to the SCC and the Brown School community through increasing diversity. She adores WashU for its dedication to fostering a sense of community and intercultural understanding among its students.

Nandu Meshram – MPH/MSP 2025

Nandu is a 2nd year MPH/MSP duel degree student with a concentration in Global Health. He’s a passionate oral health professional with keen interest in global cancer control and equitable cancer care. In addition to SCC, he serves as a student representative in the Center for Human Rights, Gender and Migration at Institute of Public Health, Wash U. During his free time he likes stargazing.

Sarolyn Fox – MSW/MPH 2025

Sarolyn, a Memphis, TN native, is all about education, creativity, and community. As an enthusiastic member of the SCC, she channels her passion into organizing events and fostering connections to enhance the student experience. Beyond SCC, you’ll find Sarolyn sipping coffee in local cafes, enjoying live performances, or collecting stamps in her passport.

Cassandra Ezike – MPH 2024

Meet Cassandra Ezike, the International Student Representative with a global vision! Currently pursuing her MPH in Epidemiology/Biostatistics, Cassandra’s dedication extends far beyond the classroom. In her role on SCC, Cassandra takes the lead in fostering cross-cultural connections and ensuring that international voices are heard. Her commitment to enhancing the international student experience and her passion for driving positive change make her a true ambassador for diversity and inclusion. Outside of her academic pursuits, Cassandra finds joy in cooking delicious meals for her family and friends. She also dedicates her spare time to mentoring young black girls in the St. Louis area.

Shambhavi Fnu – MPH 2024

Shambhavi is from India and is a dentist interested in reducing health disparities in infectious disease treatment through public health lens. She would love to explore Indian restaurants in St Louis.
