This week, Anish completed a CAD model of the joystick (found in the notebook). He will begin to print them and adjust the model, as needed, to meet the design specifications. Evan and Jon began exploring the footswitch port that will be used to connect to the arduino for triggering. Because the manual does not provide explicit design mechanism of the switch, we will have to contact Harvard Apparatus.
Next week, Evan and Jon will plan to have a function footswitch that can connect to the arduino to trigger pump infusion for the reward. Anish will continue to develop a prototype of the joystick.
