Upon successful completion of the behavioral task, the mouse is to be rewarded with a water/sucrose solution. This is extremely important during mouse training protocols to associate the behavioral task and its completion with the reward.
The mode of delivery uses a custom-designed infusion pump with a DC motor, responsible for providing rotation to infuse the reward at a set rate, as determined by the Bauer Lab.
