The product design can be split into three components: the reward, the behavioral task, and the data acquisition. The reward component will be responsible for queuing the mouse to complete a behavioral task that they are trained to perform. Upon successful completion of the task, a trigger will be sent to the reward system to initiate the release of a solution that the mouse can eat for a fixed duration. During the entire process, movement data will be recorded that tracks forelimb movement, as well as output data from the task for identifying task completion and biomechanical movement patterns.
