On Tuesday, we met to further research our potential solutions. We roughly tested the current-based breakthrough detection method to promising results. We also more precisely determined the components and cost of the NIR image based method.
On Friday, we met with Ziang to discuss our progress. For the current-based breakthrough detection method, Ziang recommended that we gather data using an oscilloscope (which he kindly lent us). He recommended we use a DAQ to gather after testing with the oscilloscope. For the NIR based solution, we showed him the potential components we would need. He agreed to show them to Dr. Hu, with the possibility of the lab providing us with some funding.
