Shuttle Information

A complimentary shuttle will be provided for attendees between the Clayton Plaza Hotel and the Blind Spots locations on Washington University’s campus. Please see the schedule below for the times of the shuttle circulation.

Please note that the shuttles will be continuously circulating during these time frames.

Thursday, November 2nd

  • Hotel to Weil Hall Shuttle Stop, 12:00 – 1:00 pm
  • Umrath Shuttle Stop to Hotel, 5:00 – 8:30 pm

Friday, November 3rd

  • Hotel to Umrath Shuttle Stop, 7:00 – 9:00 am
  • Umrath Shuttle Stop to West Campus Library to Hotel, 5:00-7:00 pm

Saturday, November 4th

  • Hotel to Weil Hall Shuttle Stop, 7:00 – 9:00 am
  • Weil Hall Shuttle Stop to Hotel, 5:30 – 6:30 pm

Parking Information & Campus Maps

Blind Spots recommends the East End Garage or the Danforth University Center (DUC) Garage. Visitor parking requires visitors to pull a ticket at the garage entrance and park in a designated visitor space. When leaving, please pay prior to exiting the garage.

The Blind Spots: 13th Annual Illustration Research Symposium will be held at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, on November 2-4, 2023.

Registration for Blind Spots closed on October 20, 2023.

Registration Fees:

  • Faculty and Professional Staff / $150
  • Graduate Students / $50
  • Virtual Attendees* (available for two hybrid sessions as noted in the program) / $0

*This conference will take place in person, but two sessions (Round Table Discussion for the Journal of Illustration: Looking Ahead, parts 1 and 2) will be available for virtual attendance. Please register to confirm your in-person attendance, or to receive a link to virtual sessions.
