AREAS OF EXPERTISE

Dr. McIntosh is a faculty member in the Bioethics Research Center. Her areas of expertise include: ethical issues in research, including the responsible conduct of research, ethical cultures in the research workplace, effective lab leadership and management, and the development and assessment of ethics education programs; ethical issues that emerge with the development and implementation of neurological technologies, especially with respect to industry relationships and conflicts of interest; and improving state medical board practices and policies to better protect patients from egregious wrongdoing by physicians.
