Location: Washington University in St. Louis, MO, USA

Call for Papers

The 12th International Conference on Bioelectromagnetism (ICBEM) will be held jointly with the 2nd Brain Dynamics Workshop in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, on 27-30 May 2020 under the auspices of the International Society for Bioelectromagnetism (ISBEM). The ICBEM2020 & Brain Dynamics Workshop .  It provides a platform for researchers all over the world to share their experience regarding their work in the broad field of bioelectromagnetism and brain dynamics. The following topics will be addressed (but are not limited to) at ICBEM2020 & Brain Dynamics Workshop:

  • Bioelectric and biomagnetic phenomena
  • Mathematical and computer models
  • Theory and algorithms in the forward problem
  • The inverse problem and source imaging
  • Mapping techniques
  • Electro- and magnetocardiography
  • Electro- and magnetoencephalography
  • Electromyography
  • Bioelectromagnetic measurement and instrumentation
  • Bioelectric and biomagnetic signal processing
  • Brain-computer interfaces (BCI)
  • Electrical impedance tomography (EIT)
  • Electrical bioimpedance
  • Electric and magnetic stimulation

The author guidelines and layout templates for preparing the contributions are given on the website. Contributions can comprise up to four (4) pages in length. All contributions will be published as conference proceedings with an ISBN number, which will be made available as a supplement to the International Journal of Bioelectromagnetism and are visible online with DOI on the publication server of Washington University in St. Louis.
