Parking

*UPDATE*: Due to numerous events, the university is expecting a high volume of visitors to campus this week, particularly on Thursday and Friday. Traffic through the two garages mentioned below will be affected. Since we do not want you to be adversely affected, we urge you first to consider alternative transportation (Anheuser-Busch Hall is a few minutes’ walk from the University City-Big Bend Metrolink station; one can also be dropped off by car/taxi/Uber on Throop Drive by Anheuser-Busch Hall).

If you do drive and plan to park on campus, please budget extra time.

For Thursday April 12, we have reserved a section of the visitor area at the top of Snow Way Garage (directions below). We do not recommend trying the Millbrook Garage on this day. When you enter Snow Way Garage, there will be a parking attendant who will be confirming that you are here for the Biggs Residency Reunion. Due to the high volume of visitors to campus on Thursday, the Snow Way Garage parking meter will raise its bar, so you will not need to stop to pull a ticket upon entrance. Drive to the roof level and look for signs indicating the area reserved for our event’s guests. When you check in at the event, inform the person at our welcome desk that you used one of the reserved spots.

Snow Way Parking Garage is located near the intersection of Big Bend Blvd. and Snow Way Dr. (#97 on this map), right next to  Anheuser-Busch Hall.  The garage is handicap accessible with elevators and an accessible path to Anheuser-Busch Hall. Visitor parking is located on the top level. We also recommend this garage to guests attending on Wednesday April 11 or Friday April 13.

To use the garage on Wednesday or Friday, enter and pull an hourly parking ticket. You can then pick up a validation for parking at the event. When you return to the garage, drive to the exit station.  Please insert the ticket that you pulled when you entered the garage.  Then, insert the validation card. The gate will be activated and you may proceed out of the garage. (If by chance you should be arriving after 5PM, note that after 5 there is no charge to park in any yellow or visitor space in any of the campus parking garages).

There is also visitor parking available at Millbrook Parking Garage (# 95 on this map, located on Throop Dr., which is accessible from Big Bend Blvd. or Forest Park Pkwy.). Millbrook Garage is also a short distance from Anheuser-Busch Hall and handicap accessible. Visitor parking is on the top level, handicap parking on the mid-level near Lab Sciences. You will follow the same procedure for obtaining a ticket and using a validation as that described above for Snow Way Garage.
