Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
I am committed to continue to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in my clinical care, my research laboratory, and through my training and mentoring. I have served as a mentor to a number of women at the high school through faculty level, as well as individuals from other underrepresented groups in science. I have also participated as a mentor for summer programs that aim to improve diversity in science. In addition, I contribute to promoting diversity at the Institutional level from my service on the Siteman Cancer Center Breast Cancer Steering Committee, the ASTRO Research Grants Committee, and as a member of the Cancer Biology Graduate Student Admission Committee. I am committed to creating and maintaining a diverse and inclusive environment for all those who work and train in my laboratory, Department, and Institution.
