Iris is a research technician and lab manager who graduated from WashU in 2019. In the Ben-Shahar lab, she is working on multiple projects: 1) finishing her undergraduate thesis project about Williams Syndrome genes in Drosophila, 2) generating transgenic tools for neuroethological study of insects as part of the NeuroNex project, and 3) ensuring day-to-day functions in the lab run smoothly.
