Emmanuel is originally from Ghana. He attended the North China University of Science and Technology for my undergraduate degree in medicine and surgery in 2012 (MBBS). He further succeeded in securing a scholarship from the Leibniz Institute of Neurobiology, Germany to pursue a master’s degree (MSc) in Integrative Neuroscience at the Otto Von Guericke University of Magdeburg, Germany in 2015, where he worked in the Systems Biology department under the mentorship of Prof. Bertram Gerber and Dr. Ayse Yarali. He further went on to receive a PhD degree in Neurobiology and Behavior from Free University Berlin, Germany in 2018 under the mentorship of Dr. Martin Schwaerzel.
