Hello and welcome to my personal page!
I am currently a third year graduate student at Washington University in St. Louis studying International Relations, Methods, and Normative Theory.
I received my bachelor degrees from Arkansas Tech University in Political Science and International Studies Cultural Affairs.
My primary research interests include gender and conflict, political violence, and territory and borders. Right now, my research specifically focuses on understanding both how women are affected by armed conflict and also their participation in armed conflict. Additionally, I am also interested in women’s role in nationalist movements. I also have ongoing projects related to contemporary gender attitudes and gender provisions in peace agreements.
In my free time I enjoy hanging out with my three cats: Cordelia, Louie, and Ollie. I also love watching horror films, reading fantasy books, and putting together puzzles. During the fall and spring you can catch me watching football and basketball—Go Hogs!
