Program Information

Instruction focuses on iterative design processes, problem-solving, and exploration of unique individual strengths. The overall goals of instruction are to foster interest in design and increase participants’ confidence. The entirety of the curriculum relates to the importance and beauty of sustainable design, inspiring students to be aware of their surroundings and how they can creatively impact them. Each session begins with a short lecture, followed by hands-on, two- and three-dimensional design exercises. The curriculum is ever-evolving to ensure that students stay engaged, even after multiple years in the program. Alberti Program students also participate in unstructured time during which they are encouraged to socialize and play, building long-lasting friendships
