Dr. Racheal Nalunkuma is a practicing Medical Doctor and Research Associate at Mengo Hospital-Kampala Uganda. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery from Makerere University, and a Bachelor of Sciences in Biomedical Science from the same institute. With over six years of experience in research for Health, Dr. Racheal has made remarkable contributions to the scientific community. Her work is evidenced by more than eight articles published in peer-reviewed journals indexed in PubMed and Google Scholar. Throughout her career development, she has gained a great passion for Infection Prevention and Control, and for Adolescent Health. Dr. Racheal is particularly committed to tackling the issue of stigma among HIV-positive Adolescents in Uganda through an innovative approach that aims to promote adherence to antiretroviral therapy (ART) drugs and also empower their independent drug administration. By doing so, she aims to improve their health outcomes and foster greater self-reliance among them.
