Claudia Leung, MD

Dr. Claudia Leung is an Internal Medicine and Pediatrics physician dedicated to improving global non-communicable disease (NCD) care and health across the life course. She earned her medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She graduated with Honors in Research for her work as a Doris Duke International Clinical Research Fellow in Kenya where she collaborated with local stakeholders to co-design an intervention for NCD care. She completed a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. Dr. Leung has a particular interest in design thinking and transdisciplinary stakeholder engagement to co-create innovative solutions for NCD care. She currently serves as the Medicine Team Leader for AMPATH Ghana and Assistant Professor in the Departments of Population Health and Internal Medicine at New York University Grossman School of Medicine
