Welcome to WUSM Accreditation 2023!
Accreditation is coming—let’s be ready!
We are excited to welcome the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) from February 19-22, 2023, when our school will be visited as part of our accreditation process. This process determines that our institution meets all expected standards. Some of you may remember our last visit which occurred eight years ago, when we received full accreditation.
Our goal for this upcoming visit is to once again show that our program meets and exceeds recommended standards for function, structure, and performance. Preparation for this visit provides a terrific opportunity for institutional and programmatic self-evaluation and improvement.
Over the next 18 months, we look forward to having many of you actively engaged in LCME-related preparatory activities that will ensure that we meet these goals!
