Global Inverse Visibility Data [.tar]
This is a global dataset of monthly inverse visibility (1/Vis) processed originally from the NOAA Integrated Surface Database (ISD).
Comprehensive screening of the ISD data is implemented, including removing relatively clean and unresolved cases, and separating inherent discontinuities. Some stations might contain more than 1 time series as a result of separation.
